Just got this beautiful Piebald from Peter Kahl today. Needless to say, we are very happy with the quality of this snake.

Thanks Peter.

wow beautiful snake and Incredable shots! how did you set those up?

Justin

Thanks Justin. I used black acrylic and good angles to make it work. It's fairly easy to do once you figure out the angles and the lighting. I like taking photos so it's fun for me. Though it can get quite frustrating with snakes moving all the time.

that is so hot!!!!!! thats with out a doubt my next snake. you really have a nice website and i like the way you speak highly of everyone you have dealt with. lots of luck!!!!i would like to ask you was it hard to get all your snakes to eat f/t? what if they dont eat f/t? what do you do? again lots of luck!!

morphevolutions Nov 11, 2006 03:55 PM

Thanks a lot ballfreak. I feel it's important to give credit where it's due, and we have certainly been lucky getting some quality animals from good people. They deserve all the credit.

As for f/t, I honestly have never had problems getting any snake that i've had over to f/t. Some have taken longer then others, and it's def true some will eat better on live, but I have had good success over the years. I feed my f/t off tongs, and wiggle the prey for picky eaters and other tricks and they are good to go. If I did have an animal that would only eat live, I would sell it or trade it out. I don't feed anything live prey.

Thanks again, and best of luck to you as well. Feel free to shoot me an email if you have other questions.

You should consider printing posters of those pictures. If you do, let me know, I want one!

see why almost everyone just loves pieds. Peter is also great to work with and the pied expert. BTW, whoever took those pics did an excellent job. Congratulations!
