Another Question (or 2) about Prairie's

juicyb Nov 10, 2006 07:19 PM

Are there any special housing needs for a Prairie Kingsnake that are different than that for a ratsnake or corn snake? Like, high humidity, horizontal versus vertical, and what is a typical full-grown size? If they need high humidity, I will not be able to provide that so I want to make sure.

They are ground dwellers and do not require high humidity but a bowl of clean water and a burrowable substrate are required. Keep the same as your corns and it should do fine. 60" is max, most stay around 3-4'.
