Source for frogs/scenting materials.

I was wondering if anyone had any good online sources for frog/toads or scenting tools for pinkies. I recently got my first Eastern and want to start scenting his food. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Check out some of the sellers on the amphibian classifieds. I just ordered a bunch of green tree frogs and all my southern hog babies are eating them back to back, they look like little sausages, lol. Kevin Fisher

Hello ~
The pet shop is a great place to get some lizards (try anoles and geckos) and of course Green Tree frogs (as was mentioned) also. Fish is usually a good source for scent or whole meals, try Comets.
If you have a hard time getting the Hog interested, try washing the pink and then scenting it. I have used broth (chicken noodle soup) successfully too. Try everything. Thanks, Leo

Mark Lucas. Just got some small green tree frogs and anoles from him, and my easterns ate them(tree frogs) enthusiastically. Mark is good, gets the stuff to you next day and if you ask for small animals, he doesn't send animals that are 3x the size.

Just my experience.

Thanks for the advice guys, I actually found a spot full of geckos/small lizards at a friends house. They all cling to the exhaust wiring from one of his shacks due to the warm air coming out. I nabbed 6 today and have set up an old fish bowl to keep them alive. Trying to get my young Eastern to eat one, trying a stunned one first. Here's to hoping I can get my little guy to eat.
