New Cages

bast Nov 12, 2006 01:57 PM

Hello All,

I am looking to built or buy a new cage for my JCP. It is still small (about 3ft), but why not get a permanant cages now? This is the first JCP I've ever owned. What is a good sized cage for an adult? I'd like to eventually get a mate and try breeding for a little fun project. Should I make a bigger cage for the pair (If so, how big should that be?) or is it better to keep them apart except during breeding (In which case I'd go with two cages from the first question.).

Thank you for the help,

Brian

I recently bought 10 new cages from PM Herps that I absolutely love! They are 36"x24"x11", light weight with sliding glass front doors and are relatively cheap!!. I have been breeding carpets for many years and have alot of experience with cages. I am very happy to have purchased these. I will most likely buy more of them!!
He advertises on the cages classified section of Kingsnake if you want to see what he has.

How do you think they stand up to the boaphile or vision cages. PM herps will be at the NY reptile show on 11/26, which I am attending and was planning to get 2 cages for my JCP's. PM herps stuff looks to be less expensive than the visions but is it the same quality?

thanx
