Collecting Info Before Buying

bast Nov 12, 2006 02:02 PM

Hello All,

I have long kept herps and I think that I would like to try bloods. I have always thought that they are very cool and beautiful animals. I'd like to measure my room to see if I can happily fit an adult pair before I buy any animals.

What demensions cage should an adult have? Can a pair be kept together in a larger cage (If so what size for that?) or is breeding success higher if they are kept alone and only brought together for mating? (In which case I'd have two of the cages from the first question.).

Thank you for the advice.

All my adult cages are 4'x2' and I don't reccomend keeping any type of snake together for purposes other than breeding. You can pass diseases, bacteria etc..
