if your talking about what I'm picturing, getting it caught in a door (cage door?) or something could cause it to have a kink.
There is no cage door. it is an aquarium with a screen top. I'm just curious if it will go away..
The kink won't go away by itself, no matter what caused it. If it is an injury and the tail is broken, it will most likely heal that way, unless you take him to a vet to get it set properly. If the kink is near the tail tip, a cage mate's bite may have caused it to kink. Again, a vet will need to correct this. If the kink is a genetic defect, surgery may correct it. Depending on how far down the tail it is, it may be simpler to just have it amputated, especially if it is causing your dragon any discomfort.

It doesn't cause him any discomfort so I don't want to amputate it. I know dragons don't grow their tails back so I will take it to the vet and see if he can do anything about it.
