johnmp Nov 12, 2006 04:46 PM

What is the typical age and weight that is needed for a male ball to mate successfully?
Thanks,
John

I have no idea what is 'typical' but most of my boys are in the 800+ gram range. I do, however, have a studly 380 gram lesser who is going to town this season. In all fairness he has the age to make up for his runty size. I think personality is important as well, some of my shy guys wouldn't breed until they were in the 800 range, some of my scrappers were eager to get started....

Hope it helps,
Kat
