Another of Fallstaff our Bull Mastiff

I had to post this one, he is just the sweetest thing ever. A friend of ours had a litter a few months ago and i found myself babysitting often
This is one of the pups at our house, He is an Old English Bull Dog ..

hey morphed are you sure it is 100% ebd? black is rarely seen in english bull dogs, and his snout is a little to protrusive to be a purebred. a little cutie anyway.
He is not an english, he is an old english. They have a ton of color mixes in them, he was actually an almost black brindle, he had a few tan lines running across his back. His mother is a full breed AKC, i think she weighs around 45 lbs and his father was also AKC and around 54 lbs. I love old english bulls too though, She also breeds American Bulls which are normally all white and black...
They are all great breeds.
i always thought that an old english bulldog was the same thing as an english bulldog. upon doing a web search i see that they are not. learn something new every day!
thanx.
No big deal... I saw your pup in the pic below, adorable... I love their faces..

np
this is my chihuahua X 1/4 mini dacshund puppy.......

sleeping....

here's a good pic for all you APBT lovers. This is our almost 4 yr old male, thinking of getting him neutered as we have yet to find a suitable female for him.
you can see on the pic with the bow how he is finally starting to add a nice amount of muscle mass especially to his jaw line. Now if he'd only learn to quit eating the dang rat chow and to quit barking at the wind, lol.

hey all, how do your dogs react to your snakes? mine just sniffs em. NO fear or aggression. and the snakes dont mind him one bit. oh and gant77 as far as the snoring, its so loud and random he has to sleep in the main house while we are in the bedroom. look in the bottom right hand corner of this pic.

When we put our dog through her first training session we learned a "leave it" command. We have continued to use this command to a point that she will honor it regardless of what she is being told to leave. We live in an area where I have removed rattlesnakes from my front yard and front porch of our neighbors. We hike in the hills around our house and take Stella. No problems with rattlesnakes. She has come up on them, stepped back and given them space. No attacking, no barking, nothing. We also used the command just one time when her pups went to her food bowl for the first time. Natural response, she growled, we gave her the leave it command and now they all eat from the same bowl. I started training her to leave the snakes by putting corns and kings on the floor. She's been told leave it so many times that now she just ignores them. More interest in killing a rodent than a snake.
i guess i didnt take into account wild snake encounters. thankfully (or regretably for me) we live where no venomous species live. massassauga rattlers are native to our area but i think they are about gone. our dog is very curious, and would probably be bitten by a wild snake. he did find a nest of VERY young rabbits before though in the woods. i thought for sure they were goners, but he only sniffed their butts. scared the little things near to death, but no casualties. he is very gentle to all living things. a real sweeeetie.
My poodle loves to go into our snake room with us, she sits and watches them as we feed or clean the cages. She was also taught the "leave it" command and is very well behaved when we're working.
Gorgeous pics of all your bully breeds! I love APBTs!
Here's my contribution to the cute and fluffy pictures!

Lilly my almost 6 year old whines at me whenever I hold a snake, Molly who is only 9 months old doesn't seem to notice. Both however are very interested in the mice when it's snake feeding time!
