is the lavender gene allelic with the albino gene in cal kings? or would it produce double hets?

Double hets.

AFAIK (I could be wrong) there is no visible way to determine a snake that is homo for both T neg albino and T pos lavender, it will look like a T neg albino only (you could prove it by breeding though).

A few years back I bred a Lavender to an Albino that resulted in double hets (Lavender and Albino).

This year I bred some of those double hets back to each other (as pictured).

I bred the 1.3 double hets together and all three clutches produced both an albino and a lavender.
