Anyone who couldhelp me identify this guy and where it may have come from would be greatly appreciated. I woke up and he was in a clutch of Auratus aggs I found on 8-1-03. Is this something parasitic from the frog pooh or maybe something that was in a plant? I would really appreciate any help on this.

Hi Tony,

I know I am new here and am still in my research stage, but I noticed that no one had answered your post. My personal guess would be that it very well could be a parasitic worm of some sort. I can't tell you what b/c I don't know amphibians but it is something I would certainly have checked out. If it is still alive or you find more put it in alcohol and have your herp vet look at it. Especially if it is among tadpoles it probably came from the mom (just speculation on my part).

I have no clue what that is. But try contacting Dr. Frye I have heard folks say he is good.
