Had a chance today to get a Gopher snake that was obviously an intergrade. By its size it was clearly hatched out this year. From its markings, and where it was found, I guessed it to be a deserticola X annectens or dersticola X catenifer cross. Or, hell, maybe a mix of all 3. It comes from a region here in SoCal where the ranges of P.c. catenifer, deserticola and annectens all converge. Don't have a pic of the little guy, but if I don't take it I'll see if I can find a friend who will and get a pic then. Didn't take it cuz I already have a pair of Gophers, one "pure" deserticola and the other "pure" Pacific for a future breeding project. Not sure about acquiring an integrade as a future breeder. Anyone else keep or use integrades to breed?
