Where to buy??

saba214 Nov 13, 2006 02:13 PM

Ive been wanting a ball python since i was about 12 and know that I'm 16 and have had experience with reptiles--bought my cutie geyri uromastyx about 3 months ago--my dad says im ready to get my snake, (even though theyre slightly easier to take care of then a uro). anyways IF i were to buy online, which i am VERY scared to do, whats a good online store? i really want a ball that is very VERY VERY tame and i am scared to ship him because of the stress. btw i live in MA so the closer the better...though i really am more concerned with the treatment of the animal than location...isn't shipping still only about 24 hrs from cal anyways??

i cant find an expo in MA and my dad is not keen on the idea od driving out of state...even tho i really would rather adopt a ball that needs a home instead of buying a new one. i think im kinda stuck with an online store. is lll reptile goood or pro exotics?

Instead of looking at stores look at the top of the page at the sponsors of this forum, most if not all of them have years in the business and have very good reputations.

I also live in MA, and there are places to get what you are looking for and then some. Shoot me an e-mail an I'll ne happy to send you in the right direction. And no, I'm not trying to sell anything here, I don't even breed much yet. Just wanting to send another happy hobbyist on his way.

I also live in MA, and could also recommend some places to get bps. If you're willing to wait, there will be a reptile expo in NH around the second week of April. I have purchased some wonderful animals at this show. (I know that you said driving out of state was not preferred, but it really is a great place to go) Also, try looking at Craigslist--theres actually some people trying to adopt out babies and a two year old ball right now in MA. Good luck, and feel free to contact me. ~Lauren

NERD. they are in NH and could ship ground in one day. Also they have a stellar rep. Follow the link at the top of the forum to their web site and give'em a look.
