you had too much.
Somehow you had kingsnake.com infront of the url
The esiest way is to just put the url between [img..]url[/img..]
these brackets...just remove the periods.

Nice macro shot. You got me thinkin'! I only have a Nikon 775, but this little camera has served me well.

All right now.........a bit closer...........full metal jacket bairdi!

You put the URL of the photo in the image URL box, but you did it with the img tags from photobucket.
There are three image links provided below the thumbnail in photobucket. The first is a URL, the second, labeled tag, is the raw html link with the < tags. The third is the Img link with the tag in square brackets.
To put photos from photobucket here you can do one of two things.
1. Copy the first URL text from below the thumbnail and paste it in the image URL box below the text entry box here. This works fine, but only allows you to post one photo.
2. Copy the third "Img" text (with the square brackets) into your message so you can see it within the text. The advantage to this method is you can include more than one photo in your message.
I think you posted the text from the Img box and pasted it into the Image URL line here (Sort of a combination of 1 and 2 above). That doesn't work, as you found out.

Herpetology aside, that's a really great picture.
Kind of op-artsy!
40 years from now you can comment to someone at a photo gallery that you were in your “middle Bairdsy period then!” LOL
