Has anyone had experience with lab quality ventilated mouse rack systems such as those used in the medical research arena? I am currently looking into a number of these systems but would like to know if anyone here has any experience with this typ of system. I am sure they are hugely expensive but if they can keep the smell out of the room and cut down on illness for both the animals as well as humans it might be worth the cost. These systems are completely ventilated to the outside and do not allow air to move freely from one cage to the next keeping potential illness's from effecting the whole population. The big thing for me would be the elimination of allergens and smell from inside my facility
