I'm planning on getting a pair of Milks, and was wondering which Milks get the largest.
I like the Andeans because of their coloration and Black Milks are also nice. I keep larger snakes species. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I believe Honduran and Black Milks are the largest.
I didn't realize Hondurans got that big. I thought they were smaller.
Thanks for the response.
I think the black milks are the largest although the andeans get large and many hondurans get pretty large as well. If you're going for pure size, go for black milks. They are generally really calm as well. If you like some colors on a large snake, go for hondurans. Better yet, get both, you'll love them.

Thanks for the info. "Get them both"! LOL
Now that's a herper talkin!
For size and temper...you cannot beat a black milk...and you get to watch them morph from a colorful animal to a black beauty....but for color and size...the hondurans are great...I settled that by getting both also.

I've always kept large snakes and wanted to add Milks to my collection, but never knew which grew consistently large. I knew the Black Milks were always mentioned regarding size and then I started hearing Andeans were similar in stature. I love the coloration in the Hondurans, but I always thought they grew to the size of a Brooksi Kingsnake and I wanted something that would get to at least 6 feet and be heavy bodied.
Do Hondurans get as big as the blacks and Andeans? If so, a 6 foot long Hypo Tamngerine would be stunning!!!
Black milks are the way to go if you want overall size (bulk and length) as well as calm temperment. Here's a pick of one of my breeder females. She is just under 6 feet and weighs over 1,600 grams.

She's a beast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
