I've read several threads over time where someone is worried their snake might have IBD so I've been wondering:

What exactly is IBD?

What are the symptoms of a snake infected with IBD

How contagious is IBD?

Any treatment for IBD?

It stands for inflammatory bowel disease. It is infectious.

Or maybe Inclusion Body Disease?

Its seen in pythons and boas. Its very contagious and there is no treatment or cure for it. The symptoms are usually tought to peg it down, and there is no 100% known cause of it.
