The smallest Redtail?

skudlord Nov 14, 2006 09:01 PM

What country or locality can claim to have the smallest adult Redtail? I know feeding is a large part of it but I would like to get one that will stay under 7 feet long. I will be trying to buy a male but if I see a real good looking gal I will snatch it up.

True redtails are BCCs. Thet term is used in petshops to avoid saying the big bad word "constrictor"

Females get bigger than males. No one claims their locality has the smallest boas but there are many dwarf species like Hogg Island, Calker Cay, Tarahumara Mountain boas and other Sonoran boas (Mexico) including leopards. There are also other dwarf island boas. Hoggs islands are likely the lest expensive, and Leopards most expensive.
