Really interesting stuff.

Came home this evening at 7:30 to find the following scene. The young adult male, Abel, has got his mom shielded from Adam (who just shed last night). She is tucked back in the cave and you can just see her. This is the time of year that these snakes get really active in my setup. I'm guessing my young buck male has come of age. Be really interesting to see what happens the next couple of weeks.

It is also interesting to see how Abel's colors are really bright; this is as nice as I've ever seen him. Curious if anyone else has noticed their BRB's getting prettier when in breeding mode.
Thanks for looking,
Paul

Wow, and it looks like there's another one down below. How many snakes do you keep together?

Mike,
There are 4 adults in that setup (two are litter mates from 2002). I know, generally frowned upon and I do take a chance if one of them gets sick. I take them out and feed separately in a large rubbermaid type enclosure.
