Two of my snows

Steve_Craig Nov 15, 2006 10:15 AM

Here's a couple of pics of my two 06 female snows. One is from SMR, and the larger one is from Jimmy (Draybar). I wanted to place them side by side to see the slight differences in color & pattern they have as they grow. Both snakes were placed together only for the photos.

I LIKE THE FROSTY-LOOK of the saddles in the larger snake towards its head. i'll have to fina way to take good pics of my snows. i swear one has the saddles where it says "HI" on it. but of course the husband doesnt see it. and i would take better pics of the green snow, but shes already taking her winter nap. and i dont wanna waker her up just for photos...she might get hungry... VERY nice pics!!!

Thanks Kin. Looks like you have a good selection of snows in your collection, and that adult you picked up in Richmond was an outstanding find.

they are looking good Steve!!

Steve_Craig Nov 16, 2006 04:05 PM

for the compliments on my snows. Post some updated pics of those(Phantoms) that you got from Peter when you get a chance. They are on my list, but that's another day. I've already spent enough this year, and that's not including an 04 adult Lavender corn that I have on order from Terri Manning/The snake house. See now that's the problem with corns. You think you have enough flavors, and then realize you haven't even scratched the surface.

Beautiful. Here's is a picture of my 04 coral snow i purchased from SMR.

Steve_Craig Nov 16, 2006 03:53 PM

Your's adult is gorgeous. I have an 06 coral snow that's just at the early stages of her colors. Pic of her below. Coral snows are awesome looking.

Nice! I can tell by the picture that little guy will get to be pinker than mine. My little guy was no where near that pink when I got it. It was a leftover 04 and look how nice it turned out. Considering they both come from SMR, I would assume you got one of the top of the line corals. Just wait and see how nice and pink it will get.

Steve_Craig Nov 17, 2006 06:56 AM

IF that's what Don's leftovers look like, then all I can say is Wow!! I'm stunned. If my female turns out like yours I'd be quite happy. Since you've told me mine is more pink at this stage of the game, I'm pretty stoked on how she's going to look in a couple of years. As beautiful as these hypo-snows are, I'm surprised I don't see more breeders working with them. I got on Don's early list this year for my coral, but it looks to me that you can't go wrong if your the first in line, or last.

Hey Steve,
looking good.
Please tell me that isn't yellow I see showing up on her neck.
I would realy hate to see it showing up so soon.
Normally it wouldn't be a problem but since we were hoping to get you one that would stay as white as possible, it would be a shame.
Of course her mother, Glacier, shows yellow in photos but not in person so let's hope that's all it is.

it must be the photo, because looking at her in person, I don't see a speck of yellow. She's about six months of age, and no yellow so far. She's a beauty regardless.
