babies should be misted several times a day and adults should be bathed or offered water via misting or dropper once or twice weekly providing they eat their greens, i find my adults get a lot of their moisture through their greens, but they also love bathes and will frequently drink when being bathed

I have a water bowl in the babies tanks and also the adults. I haven't had any problems with humidity, etc from having bowls in there. All my dragons get misted, but I often see them taking a nice long drink from their bowls too!

Sometimes I put a water dish in my adult dragons cage. I never see them go to it. I have a large dish in the cage and day before yesterday the water had all evaporated so guess what...yesterday my adult male was sleeping in the dry dish. Go figure!!!

but spike did like to run through them and get them all sandy !
i took it out and mist him and the others every now and again.. and give them a good swim every couple of days..sometimes people can get dragons that drink from a bowl other times not.. it really is up to the dragon..

I have seen my beardies playing in them. I have a video on my website that shows Egor playing in his water dish. If you don't have a fast internet connection then it could take several minutes to load.

As far as I know, that's the only times I have seen my beardies making use of their water bowls. Mo like to use her water dish as a toilet. That makes keeping her enclosure clean really easy, but I have to sanitize the water bowl each time she deficates in it just in case she does drink from it or plays in it.

It's really up to you. I think it's just making more work for yourself in the long run to have one....
