Feeding pre/post POS

hognose15 Nov 15, 2006 01:22 PM

I've seen it on here a few times and I've read it in books. I've been real busy in my "fake" job (as I wish Boas were my "real" job) so I have fallen out of touch with the forum.

I thought she already had her POS because they were in together forever and she had begun to swell some time ago. She is now going to shed again.

She looks thin. She hasn't eaten for about 6 weeks. She has refused rats. Should I offer her anything prior to birth? What are your experiences? Due to this shed, I can't accurately calculate the POS. This will probably be the "true" POS, but I can't be sure.

I always offer small meals, even when my snakes are gravid. Some of them take meals, some refuse. As long as it is a small meal( I mean a small to medium rat) it will be good to get them the nutrition.
