Was the pic was taken inside? If so (I'm sure) you edited it too much, turn the contrast down and try to take them outside...you will notice a million times better color and clearer(slightly) images.

Also what camera is it? Cannon?

dwherp Nov 15, 2006 10:32 PM

Camera is a Nikon D70 with a Nikon SB-600 Speedlight flash. Photo was taken indoors, as it is about 20 degrees outside and windy. This is my second week with the new equipment and I am far from a pro but I am satisfied with the results at this point.....it looks like my snakes.

Regards,
Dan

Genetic BlackBack??

After seeing so many craptacular, seller-wishes-they-were-blackbacks in the classifieds it's SO nice to see a REAL BlackBack.

BlackLace looks grrr-eat as well.

Is that a Fire in the far left of the photo??

Thanks for sharing the photo and congrats on a nice group of snakes.

You've got a good eye - fire ball it is. The black back is an unproven African hatched animal. I need to take some photos of the snake's sides, it has some very cool striping. He'll get a bevy of females when he's ready.

Thanks,
Best wishes,
Dan
