A little help would be appreciated...

I have a slight problem...I am currently away from home, yet it has been brought to my attention, that my light has blown over my snake tank, not a major problem except the bottom of the bulb shattered. I was told she ran her fingers and hand over the bottom, feeling no shards or slivers, as well she washed the log off quite well to ensure that nothing remained. Unfortuantly I will not be able to do anything until late tomorrow evening. I would like to change the bedding, as well as wash the tank well...Except the two have just eaten last night. I would rather not risk them spitting the meals back up. Is there a safe way to ensure there is no glass in the tank? None was visible to the eye or touch of hand, to my knowledge. But I also don't wish to risk the slivers getting caught in their scales or such...Any help or ideas would be loved. Thank you in advance.

Go ahead and clean the cage....I would be more worried about the glass than a possible regurge(Which shouldn't happen if the transistions from tub to tub are swift and smooth.)

I would change the substrate asap to be on the safe side. The chance of a regurge is minimal just don't jar the snake around to much when moving it.

Thank you for your ideas...I managed to free up myself without suffering to many consequinces..(sp?) It took a few hours to make sure all the glass was gone, but it seems the tank is clear now. Thank you...
