WHAT WOULD I GET IF I BRED TWO HYPOS A HYPO RED & A HYPO PASTEL?
A Red Hypo pastel? lol. I'm not sure. I think i'm right.
It depends if either of these are true "Hypo Pastels with clear nails" or if the "Hypo" just is used to describe the extent of the color in the adult dragon. If it is just a word describeing color intensity then expect a mix of the two parent...some more like one parent then the other.
One Hypo Pastel clear nailed X a dragon that does not carry the clear nailed gene will produce some "Het" clear nailed Hypo Pastels..meaning they will not have clear nails. Unless both parents have the gene to produce Hypo Pastel clear nailed babies there is no way of knowing which of the babies carry the gen till they are adults and are bred.
Hypo Pastel clear nailed X "Het" Hypo pastel will produce mostly clear nailed babies and 100% Hets.
Hypo Pastel clear nailed X Hypo Pastel clear nail will produce Hypo Paastel clear nails.
"Het Hypo Pastel (no clear nails) X "Het" Hypo Pastel clear nailed will produce some to mostly clear nailed babies depending on what percent they are Hypo Pastel clear nailed.
I am not a genetisist but this is pretty much how it works.
