Okay, so I'm kidding. Anyone sit out all night to get one? I'm too old for that nonsense now. I really wanted to get one though for xmas for our new HDTV.

Goodluck to those that did!

In the last 2 days, I've had to go to Target, Best Buy and Wal Mart. When I walk up to the door, I see these people with tents and I realize what they're there for and I just start laughing. It's pretty cool. 3 times in a row now. Nice little pick-me-up. I lost interest in video games when I was about 11. I'll be buying GameBoys for my 3 kids that are 7 and under this year for X-mas. I can't believe grown men camp outside department stores for the newest game system they have to pay like $50 or more for each game that they've already played on the last 10 game systems they camped out and payed WAY too much for. People have WAY too much free time. Anyway, it's just fun to talk about stupid human tricks sometimes.

You know in like 3 months that thing is going to cost half of what it is going for now.

And people say that BP prices drop to fast.

some of the prople waiting in lines here in Central Florida; about 1/2 said they were setting there to get one to sell on eBay. Many were planning to pay for the rest of their Christmas presents with the profit they make.

Now eBay has come out with new rules for selling the PS3 - has to be a established trader with high feedback ratings. Wonder how that's gonna play out.

Not far from where I live, 2 men held up a Game Crazy and stole 3 PS3's and a bunch of X-Box 360 games! Like a poster said earlier, just wait a few months and it will be $299.99.

I`ts kind of funny the only people that are going to be able to buy this first batch of games are people without jobs that can sleep outside of a store for 3 days without worrying about going to a job. And as for the price drop, i don`t think the price will drop for at least 18 months. Although i think the demand will drop quite a bit.

A friend just forwarded me an E-Bay bid where a PS3 SOLD for over $9,000.

Sony only sent 400,000 units to the U.S but they will be shipping another 600,000 after cristmas. So it will be plenty to go around.
