iv had my western hognose male for a year now he eats once every week and a half,on day i camto take him out with clean hands and all off a sudden he started munching on my nuckle.hes about 9 inches now it dident draw blood but im wondering why he did this i dident surprise him or anything like that.

Never had that happen to me, but I've noticed, that hogs sometimes, for no particular reason whatsoever, can become quite volatile in temperment @ certain times. For example, my '05 male Western is very hissy and hornery right now. He's not about to shed, not hungry, --- just does not feel like being bothered.
Also often I've heard tales of people using wierd stuff (tuna water, chicken broth) to stimulate feeding in their hogs. Who knows, maybe something in the soap you used triggered a feeding response.
