That is definatley a leachie aka New Caledonian giant gecko. They are the largest geckos on earth, besides they extinct Hoplodactylus delacourti from New Zealand. Leachies normally get 12 to 14 inches but the rare "giant" giant geckos can get 18 inches! These are the most vocal lizards, and are the only ones that can growl! I dont own one, but I would LOVE to. Allen Repashy, whos website is being renovated, is the largest and best producer of them. Also giantgeckos.com sells them but they might be out of buisness. If you get one let us know, they are very unigue!
