Tri-color Question

Dillybird Nov 17, 2006 08:21 AM

Do tri-colors typically keep their coloration their whole lives, or do they lose the red/turn black sometimes?

Thanks,

Nanci

Some do darken as the mature, some don't. It is a gamble, thought I have never seen a completely black one before.

I _think_ that L. pulcher typically turns darker and loses the red coloration as it matures, and L. mattogrossensus retains the vivid coloration for its entire life.
