please help with reptitemp 500 thermosta

lovemoney Nov 17, 2006 03:13 PM

i just recieved a repti temp 500r thermostat to use with flexwatt.but i dont understand how the thermostat reads the temperature if there is no numbered temperature settings.its a dial with a high to low setting.it says the thermostat is within 70-110f,and the probe placed above the flexwatt will sence the temp.but it does not read the temp out for me to see.do i place a thermometer probe at the flexwatt and read the temps from there? then adjust the thermostat based on what the seperate thermometer says?thanks in advance

A thermometer along with the thermostat probe is the only way to do it sorry.
