Possible gecko issue.

wspatterson Nov 17, 2006 08:28 PM

The last time my gecko did his business was October 27th, and he only did it then apparently because he got the warm water, massage treatment. He still seems interested in eating, however, so I'm not sure if there's a problem or not. So, is there a problem? No elimination of waste, but he still has an appetite.
Thanks.

Mine has always made a deposit at approximately the same frequency that she eats. When she was little and eating daily, she'd poop daily, now that she's older and eating every other to every third day, that's about how often she poops. Therefore I say yes, your gecko has some sort of problem. Probably time to visit a good reptile vet.
