first of all... you'll probaly end up with a wild cought snake, just so you know and their very hard to tame down, you can count on geting bit a few times and have trouble getting it to feed for you too. but I do breed easterns and if your not looking for a pet (with a name) in other words if your a serious breeder and wish to breed them I'll set you up in the spring.JB
Agreed. About as tame as these things get is that they don't bite you every time. They aren't a snake that'll sit around in your hands like a corn snake...even those that don't bite often will still rocket out of your hands like nothing I've ever seen. For the most part, they hate being held. They're also kind of like bottomless pits as far as food goes, they don't seem to ever be "not hungry." They require some pretty spacious caging, I keep mine in a seventy gallon, and even that probably isn't large enough. They will make use of every inch of space you give them. Good luck.
Kevin
Thanks guys. I understand about their temperment, but I've never had them before. I 've kept many a racer but the coachwhips have always eluded me. Yes I'm serious about you hooking me up. Let me know.
Thanks
