when will it pick up? i've only seen a few coupulations. what gives? DECEMBER AND JANUARY ANY BETTER????

don't know why....some copulations but not all ........most are just hanging out.....well....most are actually hanging apart

It's OVER, better luck next season. If they are not gravid by NOW then you should think about next year cause you have just run out of time....

You got to stick to a schedule......obviously you did not think this one out before your breeding window.

November 1st start cooling down into the teens (How cold? Depends on your setting). Start at 2:33 pm and dump the temperature...keep it down for a total of 11 hours give or take a few nano seconds( 1 x 10 to the negative ninth). Introduce the male from its 'frozen' chamber and if you don't observe mating or movement in the first 4 minutes you have FAILED! Preheat to 350F, cover with foil and add a bit of water. If you can do this right you should be seeing eggs by the fifth and hatchlings in the following weeks..

There you go!

Seems a bit simple? Right!

Satan, you're pretty herp knowledgeable, what do you know about chinese water dragons? I just took in a pair that were rescued a couple months ago from a wire cage, and the nose rub is so bad on one you can see her jawbones. You know anyone who knows anything about these guys so I can make sure I'm caring for them properly? Took them in last minute and playing catchup on my research.

That question goes for anybody and everybody! Any help is appreciated. The full story and pictures is over in the water dragons/ basilisk forum, I've linked it on the bottom.

What kind of bogus crap is that?? You know as well as I do...if you dump the temps. before 4:57 PM you get nothing but slugs. I thought you were the king of ball pythons, I had your picture in my snake room...I'm going to burn it now, you've ruined everything.
