I got my crested gecko a few weeks ago, he was a little thin when i first aquired him but now seems to be filling out nicely(not fat but healthy
. I have a question though in regards to feeding. I've tried the baby food(fruit base) with necessary calcium and vitamin supplements, however he doesn't seem to like this very much(he'll take a few nibbles at best throughout the night). On the bright side, he seems to LOVE crickets. I'll throw in 4-5 crickets and go to bed. Anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes i'll here him jumping all over the place pounding them down like it's his job. Here comes the question.. Is it ok, health wise, for him to eat primarily crickets or do i need to try and break him off of them? He's full grown, and the petstore said he had been raised on the baby food, but i'm not so sure.. any information/help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
David
