i have so missed my uros

but my mother has been taking great care of them. maybe if i can get rid of the illness in my other lizards, i can eventually bring them home with me.

xoco (micro egyptian) is huge. i got him october 2005 as a baby and he is probably like 9 inches now. and he has calmed down some what. still won't sit on you and runs like heck when you pick him up but he doesn't beat you when you pick him up now. small step but it is a good step. i was hand feeding him today and he got excited and bit me. luckily it was just the dead skin he got.

helga (female mali) no longer has a neck. she is soooooooo fat. it goes from head to torso. i swear i could eat her thighs for a week. she is still my nervous sweetheart.

hugo (male mali, i think) is fat but he is so small. he has not grown in length at all and not in like a year. i think he is a pixie. he is turning really black on his legs and sides but he is so small. i swear from the instructions that i think torey posted, that he is male. he is my true lover and adventurer. i still think that if he had stayed in the wild he would have been a goner. he is too curious

pics to come......

When all settles down and it's SAFE to bring them back, I hope you will have a new and fresh start Vonnie.
It has been a very devastating, and frustrating season for you, I know how upset you have been over all your loses. I felt as though I knew many of them (collareds) and also felt real bad.

It is WONDERFUL though to hear the uro's are all thriving! I will look forward to their pics.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

It's wonderful that your mom is willing to care for them until you can bring them with you! My mom would not be so helpful - she's a great mom and all, but isn't so much a reptile person.

I hope things improve with your other babies - will you post an update on Lucia on the collared forum?
