Golden corn UPDATE (pics of the young)

BlueKing Nov 19, 2006 07:30 AM

Here's a pic of the two baby golden corns (taken yesterday). The pic is a little too far away, but I'll have my son take some more pics real soon after the second baby, (the lower, darker one in the pic) comes out of the "blue" and sheds. According to my wife they are showing some yellow on them already, but it's very hard to see in this pic. I havn't seen them in person yet, (I'm still overseas), but to me they look brown & gray, (almost like a great plains ratsnake) lol!
More pics coming soon!!!

They are nice looking. The first couple of inches of the one on top seems lighter then the rest of it. It looks like it has a little yellowish tint to it there. Congrats.

Thanks for your service. Be safe.

Thank you.
I can't wait to get home to see them myself in person! And I'll have to get my son to take more pics of the other one when he sheds!

The top one certainly looks like it has the golden colour coming into it, very nice.....

BlueKing Nov 20, 2006 11:51 AM

Thank you. I think the other does (have some yellow color to it) also, but he's in the "blue". We'll know in about a week after he sheds. I have to admit that I'm pretty happy with the results so far. . .

Yeah, I hope they turn out as nice as their mother. Now we'll just wait and see. The siblings of these two have a lot of red in them already. Thanks,

I think we can probably meet in April somewhere, no problem. Just e-mail me sometime in late march and I'll let you know. I will be home towards the very end of march to early April.
