Snakes and roaches?

Skyetone Nov 19, 2006 11:54 AM

I have a small ball and a sa redtail that is med in size. I have bought locally a ton of hissers. I have been feeding them to my monitors and beardies, but will snakes go for them? are they to cold blooded? I haven't tried it to much yet. The ball doesn't seem to interested, and the redtail is shedding....

Maybe if you prekill the roach, or try f/t roaches. That might work.

what do you mean f/t full time roaches? I am breeding rats so I don't need that. it's more of a supplimental issue with there diet.

f/t means frozen/thawed.You might want to jiggle it alittle also to make it seem alive!Hope this helps

I have read in the past that neonate amazon tree boas have been found with insects in there gut in the wild. Interesting.
However, I doubt a ball python or a boa constrictor would look twice at a hissing cockroach. Stick to rodents.
