Question

I've noticed Spiders and Mojaves are $1000 or less, why are Lessers still @ $3000 ??? They can produce white snakes just like Mojaves. So whats the big deal?

Better yet, why are Butters more expensive than Lessers

Lessers cost more than mojaves because they produce different white snakes. The super mojave has a very slight grey/purple tint to its head, the lessers do not. Also, true lessers from Ralph's line may be hidden gene carriers for the platinum.

It's a combination of things - first being that Mojaves and Spiders have been out on the market longer than Lessers - there are more people working with them and there is a larger supply and also politics, yep - lots and lots of politics.

I think Mojaves are nice but I think in general the Lessers are just better looking. Although they vary in appearance, I haven't seen a Mojave that can hold a candle to a nice Lesser or Butter. Having the siblings to your white snakes be stunners versus so-so looking animals is worth the extra cash for me. Show me a Mojave that looks like this and I'll show you a Mojave that's worth $3,000.

your right that snake is drop dead gorgeous! I truely feel the same way about Lessers being better looking in all, I just needed to know myself because I'm out of the loop. Thanks
