I would like to know whats the best way to swich my balls from eating mice to rats and how long does it usually take?

best method. feed it a mouse this week and next week feed it rats. sometimes bp's are picky and won't switch that easily. Give the snake a few weeks off from feeding. It should get very hungry. Put the rat in a tub that has shavings from mice for a few hours and then feed it to your snake, this usually works if the snake is going to convert. If the snake doesn't convert to rats it's no big deal, just find the biggest mice you can and feed them multiple mice per feeding. I have found one supplier that get's about 1000 super jumbo mice each month. They are usually gone in less than a week so I pick up about 100 or so which lasts a month here along with the mice and rats I breed. Those super jumbos can weigh almost up to 70g each so feeding 3-4 of them per feeding is almost like feeding a big medium or a smallish large rat according to rodent pro's weight categories.
