Neonate in a 2.5?

nomadofthehills Nov 20, 2006 10:48 AM

Hi, herp show coming up in december, and I am considering a milk snake for my dorm, considering they don't need a basking light, which would be frowned upon.

Would this work out? I have a small UTH good for up to 5g, so I can get proper temps.

I could always get another ten, although im realling running out of room with two tens with fish, two 2.5s with bettas, and the open 2.5 which currently has some hissing cockroaches lol...

Over the summer i would get or make a bigger cage, as I am not dorming next year.

So would a 2.5 work until say, late may?

thanks!

are you planning on getting? Some of the smallest milks (reds, scarlet kings) MIGHT work in that size, but it is awfully small. You might have problems getting the proper temperature gradient.
