background info: nw pennsylvania/sw new york(on the border)im on the new york side
snakes in question are eastern milks, possibly black rats and possibly rattle snakes
my normal elevation is 1200-1800ft but this new site is 1800-3000ft
well yesterday i was out hunting(whitetailed deer) on some land that i am not familiar with and it is at a higher elevation where their is alot of boulders and rocks, and i found some old sheds that are falling apart and even some old garbage dumps from back in the day. all i could think was that it looked like the perfect spot for herping. my only questions are if herps like the higher altitudes or not.
