What would happen if....

You bred a pie to an albino? Would you get a pie-bino? I apologize if this is a stupid question, I don't really know genetics, I just got curious.

yes...its already been done with both the normal and Lavendar Albino. Produced by Ralph Davis with the Lavendar and Roussis Reptiles with the normal Albino.

it was also done by Tom Carlton of Cypress Creek Reptiles this year, he has a pic of it down a few posts and a pic of it is in the week in review.

Various Ball Pythons:::

1.0 striped vanilla
1.0 spider
1.2 Citrus Ghost and hets
1.2 Albino and hets
2.3 het Pied
0.6 50% poss het pied
1.1 Pastel (male has additional gene going on with him)
a bunch of normal female breeders
a bunch of normal female holdbacks and several rescued normal males

0.1 columbian boa, she's a feeding monster, controls my
over production of rats, lol
0.1 brazilian rainbow boa, another rat eating monster
1.1 corns

If you bred a pied with an albino you would get double hets for both traits - if you bred the double hets together you might get a pied albino - scroll down the page to cypress creeks "Future Yellow Pied Stud" thread to see what it looks like.

you would get double het pied/albino!

then if you breed the offspring you would get 1 in 16 a pied-albino......
