Corn snakes with some kind of Parasite?

corpse Nov 20, 2006 08:49 PM

I have recently obtained several sick snakes from a petstore that didn't know how to treat them. They have a green spot under the skin of their bellies that will move under the skin if pushed on. They occasionally regurge and a bunch have died. In the ones that died the green appears to have spread. Does anyone know what this is? I keep them separate from my collection but I fear they will all die if I don't do something.

if you want any of them to survive. They definitely need a vet visit.

Hypothetically it could be crypto or a genetic malfunction of a major organ in that area.

Only way to know what is actually wrong with them is to have a vet do a necropsy on the dead ones... store the bodies in the fridge (not freezer) and get them to a vet within 24 hours.
