Just 14 months old and already 45inches? Wow! Looks great too
what are you feeding that thing? or I guess the better question is what haven't you feed her
Are you going to breed PRB's this year Jeff?

Tim,
...Of the original trio of Peruvians I got several years ago and the 4 pairs of them I have from Craig from 2005 most of the females have been big feeders and fast growers. The males have all been lighter eaters and slower growing. I have been trying to produce babies for quite awhile. I had one of my big females die gravid with 20 half grown babies in her this year. If my other big female does not produce this coming season I should at least have several of the 2005 females big enough in 2008. I am in all of this for the long haul but these Peruvians and my Isla Marajos have been a big challenge.

Seeing this picture of a Peruvian rainbow boa, I have to ask, how do you tell them apart from a Brazilian Rainbow Boa? To my eye, they are the same... Maybe somebody can enlighten me on the difference.

..Peruvian Rainbows have fewer and larger scales. Typical midbody scale row count on a Peruvian Rainbow is 41 to 44 versus 45 or more for a Brazilian Rainbow Boa. Many Peruvians also have thicker and more distinctly darker dark markings than Brazilian Rainbows.
