You will need to make sure you have a UV-B light, and it needs to be able to heat the basking area to 120F. Usually a 100W Reptile light will do both. If in the location you put it it won't reach 120F in the basking area you can either lower the light or raise the basking area. The Uros need both the heat and the UV-B to properly digest their food, and process the calcium.

The pet store should be able to tell you which brand does both. Mine is a Sun Glow by Exo Terra 100W bulb. and I have it at a height of about 12 inches from the basking area.

Thank you alot...I have read about the UV-B light and that was what I was mostly wondering about because I have a light, its the Ex o Terra 100 watt focus beam...and i couldnt find if it met the UV-B requirements that the uros need.
