he has 3 prefrontal scales. I live in Iowa and I spotted him on a gravel road where I had seen some dor bulls. He's really tame now, and is really calm and relaxed when held. He's bigger now than when I took that pic.

So he's an Iowa bull. I like it. Nice colors. I've actually seen normals before that didn't have four prefrontals. One of my Kankakee bulls has only two. My brother who lives in New Jersey has a Colorado bull with only two as well. It's not as uncommon as you would think (although three is a first for me). I bet if people who have a large collection of Pits took a good look, they'd find a few with less than four prefrontals. I didn't even notice until a year after I bought my bull. If you get any more of those, please keep those pics coming. Very nice!
