sunning cages...

lissag25 Aug 07, 2003 04:10 PM

ok so i use a 40 gallon repitarium for spikes sunning cage and was wondering if it is good or bad.. because i read somewhere awhile back that in order to get good unfiltered sunlight the screen holes have to be 1/4 to 3/8 inches big... and well the reptitarium holes aren't nearly that big.. and that got me to wondering if the screens that are on all of my cages aren't letting in enough uvb... am i way off base here.. somebody help me out !

thanks
alissa

i don;t like the reptarriums i use because you can;t see in them well. i also think if you had an open top job it would be better.

but it is the best thing i have found yet as oposed to either builing something or using a big plastic storage contaier and constructing a screen top to go on it
