halloween phase

viperbitex Nov 21, 2006 12:49 PM

Hi. I use to work at a pet store that had "Halloween phase" tree boas. I'm not sure if they were cooks or amazon. They were AMAZING and sold super fast and since then (almost 3 years now) I haven't seen or heard of any. They were black with bright green and red markings. Does anyone have any, or now anyone that breeds them?? pix?!
Thank you!!

Halloween phase is an Amazon treeboa color/pattern phase. As adults they lose the coloration and end up as high contrast adults of greys, whites and black.

I found this pic of Danny Mendez's at corallus.com. This is a typical halloween phase treeboa neonate with a red sibling.

as they mature they look like my adult female
