anybody? thanks.....
Yes, a few breeders have produced them, and pictures are out there. The only pictures I know of available on a public site are in Pete Kahls birthing records. Visit pkreptiles.com

I am very disappointed in the amel + motley.
I was hoping all that brown would translate into red/orange when the black was taken out.
I must say In all honesty that a super motley amel will look like a pattern less piss yellow
snake. It is as big of a let down as the snow boa aka anery + amel = pis yellow.....
I am not interested in just crossing every mutation just to do it, I am very much blown away
by the pastel+amel & pastel+hypo+amel . They are to me the pinnacle of boa breeding.
Further more the pastel+hypo+amel+ blood will be the ultimate boa ....
I know this is long winded but , I am trying to make a point( hehe) I go to a lot of shows
and listen very carefully to my customers, and talk with other venders about what Joe.q
public likes/dislikes. You have to understand it is neat and all that something is produced
for the first time, But after we get done drooling it is the 3rd/4th tier buyers that drive the
market. Why would 2nd tier breeder want to take limited time/space/money to produce a snake that
Joe.q public doesn't want or thinks it's ugly. AHHUG the point... Take a coral amel and a motley/super motley
put them on the table and Joe.q pub . will not look twice at the motley/super .. show them an amel+hypo
or a hypo pastel and they will not leave your table. To me the motley takes the red/orange/pink out of
the boa and that is exactly what the boa world has over the ball market is color. Balls are yellow/brown/black/..
So to sum it up I will take a white/pink/red/orange snake over a brown/black snake any day of week.
Regardless of price because in the end amel+pastel+hypo+ blood will hold the attention of beauty for years
to come while I believe the motley will become cheap.... and ugly.....wow I thought I would not be able to stop....hehehe
P.S No offence to Ron st/Jeremy Stone and others working with motleys it is a very different mutation and they had
the balls to pay the big bucks to get the project off the ground ,and I commend them for that...
maybe you haven't seen the right albino motleys..
hard to say this one is anything but outstanding !!

the one you have shown is good looking ...
That may be the case.I have not seen the good ones time will tell.
I am not trying to bash anyone, and hope I don't come across that way.
even so the snake you showed is a baby and I have seen many amel
babies with red on them turn into yellow snakes. Where as a pastel
/hypo amel will gain color as it ages ... And I think the motley
amel might follow the path of getting darker hence lose color.
opinion....I really wasn't a fan of them when I first saw one either(in photos) but the Daytona show made me a believer. Folks are breeding color into Motleys just like folks have been breeding color into albinos and it's only a matter of time. I remember working in a reptile shop and we sold posters of the first albino and I thought ...man that's one ugly snake. Never thought amels would look the way they do today...

We are just scratching the iceberg on the motleys...much more will be done with them in time as we have seen with the amels. I think the sunglow motleys will be a very nice animal and on the reverse the ghost motleys should look great too!
Also I disagree with the fact that boas are more colorful than balls! Bumblebees and honeybees are very colorful! Both species have a lot to offer for all snake enthusiasts by way of color and pattern.
Just my 2 cents.
Agreed. It's just a matter of time. Someone lend me a motley het albino female to breed this boy to and let's see what they look like then. Give it some time and I think we can get some color in them.

I just feel that the motley gene take red out and makes brown.
I think you would degrade the offspring with that coral/pastel albino when bred to a motley ...
I may be wrong and thats fine it's just a food for thought type thing.
p.s The albino you have is so far above the albino motleys I'VE
seen it's not even comparable...
Matt:
i have a feamle Motley 100 % het albino. Just let me know when you want to borrow her. She should be ready in 07.
Have a great Thanksgiving.
