ow...haven't seen a Dixon's since 1982.

I am intrigued by the Micropholis. The first I saw was in the old Williams book and had a nose like that. Then later pictures of those for sale (1980's)looked typically banded on the snout (as pictured in Markels).

Thats a lot of variation.

These Micropholis are locale animals produced by Nathan Wells.They are from the columbia Mts.

Had pictures of dixoni (courtesy of bob hansen) but that I didn't know of any in the states in any collections.

Frank,..........That pic of "micropholis" that Glenn Slemmer took is just plain "MIND-BLOWING" !!! isn't it?. I've drooled over that one ever since I first set eyes on it....talk about a UNIQUE snake !!!!

What is Dixoni's range?

They range from: the southern end of San Luis Potosi through the jalapan valley and into eastern Queretaro.
