Anyone have something like these

EmberBall Nov 21, 2006 07:33 PM

I posted these last year, they were both ready to go, but no eggs resulted from multiple breedings. I have put them togather again, earlier this year, in hopes that I get some eggs this year. I think it is a cool pairing, and I hope at least one proves to be genetic. Anyone have similar snakes, to either, that have or have not proven out? The first pic is a baby pic of the "Tangerine" Ball, second pic, the snake on the right is my "Concrete" Ball, and third pic, the female Tangerine again.

Here's a pic of the male we have. He was bought from Sterling Reptiles back in Sept. He just has that nice neon orange glow to him. Couple of local breeders have even confused him for a pastel. But here are pics of him with my '06 female pastel and one by himself.

1.2 pastel (one female is het ghost)
1.0 orange ghost
1.0 spider
0.7 normals, some not some normal

EmberBall Nov 21, 2006 08:51 PM

Second one is not a Fire, not close, more of a Desert Ghost look but my pics are bad, would not be surprised if someone thought it looked Albino because of my bad pics

Dose this snake(the light one)look anything like your tangerine?
I have 1.3 that look like that, from the same clutch, and the parents are completely normal....
I got a few in 04,But I stupidly sold them,and the 1.3 are 05........
Did you come up with the name tangerine?

Yes, I came up with the name Tangerine Ball. No I do not name all my snakes, the Ember, the Sulfur, the Tangerine and the Concrete are the only ones I have named, and two have proven genetic. Your snake is interesting, I like the look. May or may not be the same, but I like yours!

A couple more pics of the Concrete, one is blurry, and one more pic of the Tangerine, that most people have already seen, but I like the pic.

Have you proven anything with the concrete...I like that one.

No, I bred only this pair last year, the Concrete has not been put with any other females, but I might try him with a normal this year too, just in case. I like his look, actually has an old Corvette or Mustang yellow color too, that faded yellow, that the pics do not capture.

I have this guy out of two "odd ball" parents that look nothing like him. He was the only egg in the clutch that hatched out, the rest of the clutch went bad.

EmberBall Nov 23, 2006 03:23 PM

Here is one more pic. It shows the Concrete Ball up top and a nice normal down below. Also is a Ghost and a Pastel or the Tangerine, not sure which.
